Tap Magician fully compatible spares for the Franke Planar Kitchen Mixer Lever tap Post 2008 model.

Please note this is the 28 spline model 2307R which fits in the later model of the Planar tap which has 28 splines.

The original tap had a 20 spline cartridge fitted 3549R, if you need that version please click here

You will require our Anticlockwise open cartridge for the cold side, and clockwise open for the hot side, If you require both then you can select "Pair".

When you remove your old Planar Cartridge / Insert from the tap the bush (Original bush coding 3886R) usually remains inside the tap block however sometimes it comes out together with the valve. If the valve is stuck inside the bush you can try to separate them.
If you are unable to separate the valve from the bush then you will need to purchase the valve together with the bush. If you want to try to separate the old bush from the cartridge you can watch our video on this below.

If your tap is leaking from the neck (where the spout joins the tap body) then the seals inside the spout need replacing.
When you replace the new rubber seals O'Rings they need greasing with a silicone grease. The original O'ring kit is known by SP2268 / 3617R / 133.0069.155.
