HOWDENS LAMONA TAP3406 KICTHEN TAP SPARES Tap Magician compatible spare parts for the Howdens Lamona TAP3406 Kitchen Tap model. If your tap is dripping or leaking out of the spout then it is time to replace / change the quarter turn ceramic disc cartridges. The cartridge has 20 splines. You will require our Anticlockwise open cartridge for the cold side, and clockwise open for the hot side. If you require both then you can select "Pair". If your tap is leaking from the neck (where the spout joins the tap body) then the seals inside the spout need replacing. When you replace the new rubber seals they need greasing with a silicone grease. How do I remove the TAP3406 tap handle lever? Step 1. Remove hot / cold indices from the end of the handles. Step 2. Use Crosshead screwdriver to undo screw holding handle in place. Step 3. Pull tap handle off. Step 4. Unscrew shroud anticlockwise from tap body. Use adjustable or 17mm spanner to undo cartridge anticlockwise.
